Te reo Maori flashcards

Today I was learning about Maori words and had to post one of them to my blog

I found it difficult to choose which word to post to my blog.

I enjoyed creating the google drawing.

Raspberry Pi

today I was learning about Raspberry Pi.

I found it difficult to answer the questions because I kept on forgetting the answer to the question because I had to go back and read it again.

I enjoyed doing the quiz about it.

ANZAC poster

today I was learning about ANZAC because I need to learn more about it.

I enjoyed watching the youtube video about ANZAC because I learnt so much from it.
I found it challenging to fill in all the answers because some didn't make sense to me.
My digital learning object shows facts about ANZAC.

The ANZAC Tree

through the video (the ANZAC tree) I have learnt that many families had to say goodbye to their friends and family and some never saw them again.

In wars, many people suffered and died, and they could never see their families ever again.

Many people's brothers, dads, friends and family went to war and not many came back.

trenches

In our class we were learning about trenches and had to make one out of lego or in Minecraft I chose Minecraft because I enjoy playing it and I think it was easier than doing it with lego.

A Prayer For The ANZAC

Remember, O Lord, all those the brave and the true, who have died the death of honour and are departed in the hope of the resurrection to eternal life. In that place of light from which sorrow and mourning are far banished, give them rest, O Lord, thou lover of men.

Isolation Easter

This easter was probably the most boring easter I have ever had because we were in Isolation I called it Isolation easter all I did was eat chocolate, ride my bike I think the only fun thing I did was play fortnite with my friends because I can’t do anything else with my friends. But then one day we did something fun that wasn’t playing fortnite with my friends, my mum said that we should do an Easter egg hunt in our backyard but I didn’t want to do it but my brother and sister did, not long after that my sister came back inside with all of her eggs the only one that was still out there was my little brother but then he came stomping back inside and shouted ‘I only found 2 so far mum can you give me a hint’ he got his hint and came back in with all his eggs. Now the only fun thing to do is play fortnite with my friends because we have no more chocolate.

Easter traditions

For Christians, Easter is a  time to remember how Jesus died on the cross for us. but easter is celebrated differently in some countries. In France, they make giant omelettes, in Greece, they throw clay pots out of windows, in Finland children dress up as little easter witches and wish people well in exchange for treats.

where's toki

here is where I will write my summary linking to the value explored. How does this connect to the Easter story? I think the story where's Toki links in with the easter story because it includes quite a bit of praying and respecting things that were tapu.
